I took pictures of Gibeny with his great-grandpa on May 25th. I received a message today that William Frank Dunkle passed away last night.
I am so honored that I was able to capture these precious moments.
Who knew they were going to end up being "cherished possession" as Amy put it. I know from experience how how important these images have become.
My own father passed away 7 years ago. 3 weeks before he passed, I did a session with my dad and daughter Payten, who was 2 years old at the time... I cannot even tell you how blessed I am to have those memories.
Ok this is insane.. I posted a ton of pictures, but there were just to many great picts to choose from. I took their engagement pictures last August, which turned out great as well. They are just a HOT couple.
Cynthia from Enizio came along to beautify Katie with hair and makeup. It's always nice to have an extra eye and she was awesome to work with helping lay out the dress and posing.
We originally went up AF canyon. They brought a canoe for some fun shots. Unfortunately, as soon as Katie got in the canoe.. here came the rain.. and I mean the RAIN. After waiting a half an hour we decided to drive back down to the valley. We saw a field and there we stayed! It was a great location and hello RAINBOW!
I can't wait to shoot their wedding in a couple of weeks.
This is my niece Rach in her wedding dress putting together her own cake. Check out her site if anyone is in the market for a wedding cake.. Designs by Rach
I took Gibbeny's newborn picture.. I can't believe he's 3 years old, what a cutie! They brought great grandpa along for some photos. I love how family oriented this family is.
Engagement day... snowed out and had to reschedule. Bridal day... freezing and raining. Wedding day... Raining... at least it was raining any time we wanted to take pictures.
Not kidding.. I waited an hour for them to exit the temple and not a drop of rain. As soon as they were ready to exit, here comes the rain. Later that night it was great outside until we were ready to do some fun formal pictures... RAIN!!
But with all the rain, Natalie enjoyed her wedding day and was ready for anything! I for one loved the rain... no sun to contend with and the colors were to die for.
Ok I'm still trying to get caught up on my editing. Although this is my latest session, I couldn't help it, I had to post this photo because I love it.
This image is literally right out of the camera without any editing.
